Organise is a personal, single-user desktop application for macOS. This policy explains what data it accesses and how it is handled.

Who runs Organise

Organise is a personal project maintained by Rupert Russell. There is no company, no hosted service, and no user accounts. Contact: rupert@rupertrussell.com

What Organise accesses

With your permission, Organise connects to Google Calendar using these scopes:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar — to read your events, so it can plan your week around them, and to create, move, or delete events when you ask.

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email — to display which Google account is connected.

It may also access your local Apple Calendar via macOS if you connect it.

How your data is used and stored

• Your calendar data is used solely to display your schedule and to make the changes you request.

• All data, including your Google authorisation token, is stored locally on your own Mac. Nothing is uploaded to a server run by Organise, because there is no such server.

• Organise does not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party.

• Google user data is not used to train any AI or machine-learning model.

Sharing with third parties

Organise does not transmit your Google Calendar data to third parties. If you use the optional assistant integration, the instructions you type are sent to your configured AI provider to be interpreted; your calendar events are only ever changed through Google's own API, on your device, after you confirm.

Revoking access

You can disconnect Organise at any time from within the app, or revoke its access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Disconnecting removes the stored token from your Mac.

Retention

Data is retained locally only while you use the app, and is deleted when you disconnect or remove the application.
